About the role
We are looking for a performance-driven and lifecycle-focused Owned Media Specialist to join our Brand & Marketing team at WeWork India. In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of our email and WhatsApp marketing programs as key revenue and engagement channels, while working closely with content and growth teams to strengthen owned media channels.
You will be responsible for designing and optimizing full-funnel customer journeys, leveraging our MarTech stack for automation, personalization, and experimentation to drive acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue outcomes.
He/she will also be responsible for increasing the conversion rates of our website, landing pages, and other owned channels. Having Email, WhatsApp, SMS campaign experience is a desirable and added advantage. Using data analysis, A/B testing, user feedback, and industry best practices, you will help optimize user journeys and enhance the online customer experience to drive better business outcomes
As part of this role, you will report to the Head of Product Marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Lifecycle & Journey orchestration: Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy across email and WhatsApp—from lead nurturing and onboarding to engagement, upsell, cross-sell, and retention.

Campaign Execution: Plan and execute always-on and tactical campaigns using segmentation, behavioral triggers, and dynamic content to drive conversions and pipeline velocity

Marketing Automation: Leverage our MarTech platform to:

Implement event-based communication

Optimize channel performance

Segmentation: Develop advanced audience cohorts based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, firmographics/demographics, and engagement signals

Experimentation & Optimization: Design and execute A/B tests across messaging, frequency, creative, journey logic, and send-time optimization to continuously improve performance.

Deliverability & Channel Growth: Monitor and improve key channel health metrics including deliverability, sender reputation, opt-in growth, engagement rates, and database hygiene.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Tech to align CRO efforts with broader business goals and initiatives.

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on conversion metrics and suggest actionable recommendations to improve performance.

Conversion Optimization: Analyze and identify conversion opportunities across our digital properties (websites, landing pages, apps) to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.

A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other experimentation strategies to optimize website performance.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, MoEngage, etc.) to track user behavior and KPIs, identify trends, and generate insights that inform optimization strategies.

UX/UI Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to enhance website layouts, navigation, and overall user experience to remove friction points that hinder conversions.

Customer Journey Optimization: Map customer journeys and optimize conversion paths, from first touchpoint to final purchase or goal completion.

Personalization & Targeting: Develop and implement strategies for personalization, segmentation, and targeted content to increase conversion rates for specific audience groups.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Tech to align CRO efforts with broader business goals and initiatives.

Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on conversion metrics and suggest actionable recommendations to improve performance.

Market Research & Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest CRO trends, techniques, and tools, competition strategies and provide recommendations on how they can be applied to improve conversion rates.
Skills & Qualifications
-
7–8 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, marketing automation, owned media strategy and Conversion Rate Optimization with hands-on execution.

Proven expertise in email and WhatsApp marketing as primary revenue and engagement channels for acquisition as well as renewal and x-sell/upsell.

Strong working experience with marketing automation and customer engagement platforms such as MoEngage, WebEngage, HubSpot, SFMC, CleverTap, Braze, or similar.

Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sanity) and HTML/CSS/Javascript basics for testing and optimization.

Strong understanding of customer behavior, funnels, B2B purchase behaviour.

Ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
