Responsibilities

Design Leadership:Own the end-to-end design process for assigned projects—from concept development and spatial planning to FF&E curation and final styling.

Team Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams (Architecture, Art & Graphics, Construction, Real Estate,) and external consultants to deliver cohesive and timely design outcomes.

Creative Direction:Develop compelling design narratives aligned with WeWork’s brand and member needs. Translate briefs into design strategies that balance creativity with functionality.

Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously across stages. Ensure timely deliverables, design intent preservation, and quality control.

Mentorship & Oversight:Mentor junior designers and provide design guidance and reviews to maintain quality and consistency across projects.

Sourcing & Innovation:Stay ahead of industry trends, sustainable design practices, and material innovations. Engage with vendors to discover new products and solutions.

Documentation & Drawings:Oversee and review drawing sets, material boards, presentation decks, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

7–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to commercial or workplace design

Proven experience in leading design projects from concept to execution

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and spatial planning

Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (preferred)

Excellent presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight timelines
-
Strong leadership qualities and team mentorship experience
