About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, analytical, and detail-oriented Business Operations & Reporting Lead to drive reporting excellence, business governance, documentation management, and operational coordination across the Supply function. This role will serve as the central point for consolidating business data, generating leadership reports, managing reporting cadences, maintaining critical documentation, supporting strategic initiatives, and enabling informed decision-making through high-quality insights. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, thrives on bringing structure to ambiguity, and is passionate about building efficient business processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Business Reporting & Governance
- Own and manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting calendars.
- Prepare leadership reports covering business performance, project timelines, cashflow, quality metrics, efficiency, OKRs, audits, closeouts, and strategic initiatives.
- Collect, validate and consolidate information from multiple stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
- Design reporting templates and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
- Maintain reporting governance by tracking submission timelines, follow-ups and completion status.
2. Data Management & Validation
- Maintain the integrity and quality of operational data across business systems.
- Perform regular validation of project, financial and operational data before reporting.
- Identify inconsistencies, missing information and data gaps, coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
- Ensure standardisation of reporting formats and master datasets.
3. Business Analytics & Insights
- Analyse trends across projects, budgets, timelines and operational performance.
- Generate management insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop executive summaries highlighting key risks, opportunities and business performance.
- Support annual planning, budgeting and business review exercises with analytical inputs.
4. Reporting Templates & Business Communications
- Develop and continuously improve reporting templates and management dashboards.
- Prepare annual business review documents, business snapshots and strategic presentations.
- Support creation and maintenance of capability decks, business collateral and organisational presentations.
- Ensure consistency of business messaging and documentation standards.
5. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Own the central repository for business documents.
- Maintain version control and documentation governance.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, templates and reference material.
- Support onboarding documentation for new team members.
- Ensure critical business information remains organised, accessible and up to date.
6. RFI & Business Development Support
- Coordinate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Compile inputs from cross-functional teams into client-ready submissions.
- Maintain and continuously enrich the organisational knowledge base for future proposals.
- Support preparation and updating of capability presentations and related business materials.
7. Team Operations & Engagement
- Coordinate cross-functional business activities and operational initiatives.
- Support planning and execution of team engagement activities.
- Coordinate internal communications, governance meetings and business reviews.
- Assist in managing organisational documentation and company-wide knowledge assets.
This role works closely with:
- Business leaders to understand reporting requirements and governance priorities.
- Analytics teams to generate business insights and performance trends.
- Technology teams to improve reporting automation and digital solutions.
- Project Management teams for project updates, cashflow tracking and milestone reporting.
- Asset Management and Audit teams for governance, compliance and audit reporting.
- Executive support teams for reporting schedules, leadership reviews and documentation management.
- Cross-functional stakeholders to gather, validate and consolidate business information.
Education and Desired Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in Business Operations, PMO, Strategy, Reporting or Business Analytics.
- Experience with Airtable, Tableau or similar reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or business operations functions.
- Knowledge of project governance and operational reporting frameworks.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience creating dashboards, management reports and executive presentations.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
