Job Summary

WeWork India is seeking a visionary Lead AV Engineer to spearhead our Audio Visual infrastructure and operations. Beyond day-to-day management, you will be the primary architect for our digital workplace environments. You will oversee the AV Operations team while driving technical standards, budget optimization, and the seamless integration of Unified Communications (UC) across our multi-site portfolio.

Key Responsibilities : 

Strategic Leadership & Design

  • Architectural Oversight: Design and architect bespoke Pro AV environments, including MTR, UC platforms, and complex venue-specific infrastructures (Auditoriums, Townhalls, and Meeting Spaces).

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Take end-to-end ownership of Green Field and refurbishment projects, from preparing Infrastructure Bill of Materials (BOM) to final deployment.

  • Vendor & Financial Governance: Manage the technical requirements for RFP processes and navigate P2P workflows to ensure timely procurement and cost-effective delivery.

Operational Excellence

  • Reliability Engineering: Implement monitoring and maintenance protocols to sustain a 99.9% uptime standard for all collaboration spaces.

  • Event Excellence: Oversee the technical delivery of executive-level global townhalls and large-scale auditorium events.

  • Asset Lifecycle: Implement comprehensive inventory and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) programs to maximize the lifespan of enterprise AV assets.

Technical Integration

  • Unified Communications: Lead the configuration and deployment of Microsoft Teams Phone solutions and other cloud telephony integrations.

  • Control & DSP Systems: Program and troubleshoot Crestron Control Systems (Simple Windows, VT_Proe) and manage complex audio signal flows (Bose, Biamp, QSC).

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the final escalation point for L1/L2 incidents, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex technical failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 9+ years of results-driven experience in IT/AV, preferably within the banking, financial services, or large-scale coworking sectors.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Technical Mastery:

    • Hardware: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Bose, QSC.

    • UC Platforms: Google Meet Rooms, Cisco Webex, and Zoom Rooms.

  • Certifications: Must hold industry-recognized certifications such as AVIXA, or Extron NAV Specialist.

  • Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage technical vendors, optimize project budgets, and lead teams in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
