About the Role

WeWork India is seeking an Assistant Manager, Sales to help lead its sales efforts in Pune and will be part of our Sales department. This role plays a vital role in our business expansion strategy by proactively seeking and engaging with midsize and large companies in their market. The self-driven and motivated candidate will not only identify prospects but also nurture them, leading to tours and successful sales closures across all WeWork locations in their market. This proactive approach helps us grow our business, retain existing members, and increase desk counts by catering to the unique requirements of each member, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • 50% Lead generation and prospecting (i.e., cold calling/outreach, social media, networking, events, etc.)
  • 25% Existing sales pipeline management
  • 25% Inbound lead management 
  • Own the occupancy of the allotted cluster(s) and working cross functionally with various teams to ensure overall health is maintained
  • Drive strategic cross-functional projects with the regional leadership to help drive revenue growth in the assigned territory
  • Activate and grow accounts assigned in the books of business 
  • Cultivate midsize and large business relationships
  • Partner with New Member Development and Community teams to ensure successful placement and follow up of new members
  • Utilize innovative and creative sales tactics
  • Tour and demonstrate WeWork locations and business solutions with potential members
  • Regional support; 30% intra-city travel

Education and Desired Qualifications:

  • College/University graduate with a 4-year degree preferred
  • 7-9 years of sales experience
  • Ability to establish and nurture C-level relationships
  • Ability to penetrate new markets
  • Team management experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Commercial real estate sales background is a plus
  • B2B business solutions experience is a plus
  • Business development experience is a plus
