About the role
WeWork India is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer II to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and maintaining machine learning solutions that will drive new product innovations and support key initiatives across technology platforms, operational excellence, and data management domains, creating a firm-wide impact.
Roles and responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as software engineers, product managers, data scientists & business teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that can be solved using machine learning and generative AI.

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for various business applications.

Work on data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, and performance evaluation.

Optimize and scale machine learning models for production, ensuring high performance, accuracy and low latency.

Monitor and maintain machine learning pipelines, ensuring continuous improvement of deployed models.

Contribute to the development of APIs and integration of machine learning models with production systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest machine learning research, tools, and techniques to continually enhance your skillset and improve solutions.

Implement prompt engineering techniques to fine-tune and enhance LLMs for better performance and application-specific needs.
Experience and qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2-4 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and data science in a production environment.

Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.

Experience with large language models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering Techniques, Langchain, OpenAI SDK, RAG system, Vector DB's (Mandatory).

Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

Hands-on experience with supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, etc.).

Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical implementation.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and drive product development and adoption.

Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
