About the role
Managing Facility Mamagement operational activities and providing necessary support in managing end to end Workplace Operations for assigned portfolios for Mumbai offices.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage overall facility services of the assigned portfolio.
- Stakeholder management within organization
- Supervise service delivery of maintenance agencies, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability and implement solutions as appropriate.
- Perform technical due diligence for the new building.
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX activities for the assigned portfolio
- Laisining with LL for uninterrupted building operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, as well as expenses.
- Monitor and implement preventive maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements.
- Ensure that all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment and that staff are trained to use it.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify and prioritize facility-related projects and allocate resources accordingly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed.
- First point of escalation management & incident management for any building emergencies.
- Supervise and manage soft services providers like housekeeping, pest control, horticulture etc. to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Execution of business-approved capex project large-scale maintenance projects.
- Business continuity planning and 100% business uptime with necessary proactive steps.
- Manage vendor contracts and performance for outsourced soft services.
- Manage soft services budgets, track expenses against budget and explore cost optimization.
- Ensuring 100% fire and life safety process & statutory compliances.
- Risk assessment identification & mitigation with FM partner, LL, & WW stakeholders.
Experience and Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ electrical / Electronics engineering, or a related field.
- 12 + years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operations and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC, FAPA and other high and low side building systems.
- Experience in project transition, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives is a plus.
