About the role

The Underwriting & Analytics Team at WeWork India is responsible for performing all financial analysis pertaining to WeWork’s regional expansion and supporting all real estate transactions work. The Analyst position is responsible for all market research, deal underwriting, pipeline reporting and real estate analytics for the region. As a dedicated member of a regional deal team, this role requires a deep understanding of deal economics, regional commercial real estate market and real estate portfolio management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Market research for new and existing markets
• Deal underwriting, benchmarking and overall pipeline/portfolio analytics
• Creating and maintaining Market Playbooks, Deal Memos and other presentation material required for investment committee and executive approval
• Facilitating all actions required for the professional management of global portfolio
• Supporting and maintaining systems for regional portfolio management

Education and Desired Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in RE Finance
• Strong capabilities in financial modeling and market research
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate industry and corporate finance
• Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Teamwork, cooperation, and ability to take direction
• Reliable, focused and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Strong time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excels under pressure; ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) a strong plus
