About the role

WeWork India is looking for a motivated and entry-level AV Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will support the Audio Visual (AV) operations, working closely with our senior engineers to manage background music (BGM), assist with events, and handle basic setup for video conferencing and wireless presentations. This is an excellent opportunity for an AV professional with 3-4 years of experience to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist the AV team in setting up and managing AV equipment for events, meetings, and day-to-day operations, including background music (BGM), video conferencing, and wireless presentation systems.
• Work on basic AV-related operational tickets and provide timely support following defined SLAs.
• Support the setup of AV systems for smaller events, such as team meetings and podcast setups, under guidance.
• Perform routine troubleshooting of AV equipment, including identifying and resolving minor audio and video issues.
• Assist in documenting AV setup configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Learn and support auditorium light presets and audio setup basics, assisting senior engineers as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, event coordinators, and IT on AV setup requirements.
• Stay open to learning about industry trends and AV technologies.

Education and Desired Qualifications: 

• 3-4 years of experience supporting AV operations, preferably in a corporate or event-driven setting.
• Basic knowledge of audio and video equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AV control systems; exposure to Crestron Control Systems or Bose DSP audio is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow processes and manage simple AV configurations.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail, especially for routine troubleshooting tasks.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt, with a strong focus on delivering reliable AV support.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
